Christmas Memories

Christmas seems to loose its sparkle the older one gets I have found. But this year I tried to break this cycle and enjoy the moments of holiday craziness, and you know, some of the sparkle came back. I hope everyone was able to experience some unexpected fun and the well loved tradition on this special day.
Some of the more interesting gifts I received today happened to be Purel and individually packaged toilet seat covers....not normal Christmas gifts :) . These serve as a reminder of the closing date to my departure to t-land which evokes many concerns and excited tummy butterflies.
Prayer requests: I ask for prayer for my family with their concerns and worries and for wisdom in their interaction with me now and when I contact them while overseas.

May His glory and holiness cover your spirit on this special day when the Father sent His Son to fulfill His rescue mission for the human race.
Love you all,
Kt

Still at home

It is a weird feeling that in only 16 days I will be out of the country in a place where I won't know much of anything. This creates a tumble of emotion that I am experiencing throughout the day with my friends and family. I am excited to be writing to you soon from my new home in Thailand and I have created this blog to stay in touch with many of you. After you read each blog, (which is sort of like my diary) you may post a comment that I may be able to respond to if I have the time. If I am not able to respond to each comment it would still be nice to know I have support from home. I hope this system works to stay in contact with each of you and I hope you will be able to experience, to some degree, my adventures.
Prayer requests: I ask for prayers for courage and strength to face the unknown, something that is very difficult for me to stomach.

Love, Katie (Kt)
